Who am I?
My name is Kate, and I am a Cornwall based birthkeeper.
My journey into birth work was inspired by my own experience as a mother of six. I felt a deep calling to walk alongside women as they bring their babies into the world, honouring the innate wisdom and power of birth.
For many years, I have dedicated myself to supporting women through the transformative journey of childbirth—witnessing them transition from maiden to mother and guiding mothers as they are reborn.
I trained under and continue to be mentored by Evony Lynch of Sacred Womancraft, whose wisdom and experience have been invaluable in refining my practice.
I have a profound trust in physiological birth and in a woman’s innate ability to give birth. My commitment to this work drives me to continually expand my knowledge and skills through ongoing education. I regularly attend workshops such as Breech Birth Skills, Biomechanics of Birth, and Birth Emergencies to ensure I can offer the best possible support to the families I serve.
My Services
Basic Package
£950
2 Hour consultation in your own home to connect over a cuppa & discuss your birth plan.
On call from 10 days prior to your E.D.D until your baby arrives (multiples 20 days)
Support you and your birth partner during the birth of your baby/babies.
1 Hour debrief session within your home.
Standard Package
£1,550
Birth pool Hire (inc. liner, mats & pump)
5 x 2 Hour sessions held within your home to offering information on birth choices, helping navigate the maternity system, planning and preparing for labour, birth and beyond.
Accompany you to two midwife or consultant appointments.
On call from 10 days prior to your E.D.D (multiples 20 days)
Support you during birth and stay until you’re settled and bonding with your baby.
Provide a nutritionally balanced meal for after birth (optional)
Extra attendance to midwife/consultant appointments are available for an additional charge.
Advanced Birth & Postnatal Doula Package
£1,900
In addition to the standard package you will receive
5 x 2 Hour postnatal visits where I can support you in your new roles. Helping you with breast feeding, carrying out tasks such as cooking, cleaning, help with the baby or other children. Anything that you need that will assist your recovery and aid bonding.
With each visit I will bring a meal for the whole family.
